Activities and Instructional Classes
Cooperatively, our group strives to provide educational classes and resources for our children. All families are encouraged to offer cooperative classes to the group any time of the year. If you are a parent involved in our group and would like to list a class, please contact us with your information. We usually never list exact dates or locations for our functions on our website, for safety reasons. For specific times and locations please join our Meetup.com group and become a member.
Art
Art classes are taught by Kansas State University Art students. We have had the most amazing teachers over the years, and we are truly thankful that they volunteer their time with our children. There are three levels of classes: Level I is ages 3-6; Level II is ages 7-10; Level III is ages 11+. Art classes meet 3 times each month throughout the traditional school year, from September through May, with time off during school-holidays. Art teachers are volunteers. The fees we collect go to our amazing student-teachers to help pay for their gas as well as art supplies necessary for classes.

Meetup Monday's
We meet several times each month with a different activity in mind. Some activities we have done: met and played board games, open gymnastics, bowling, skating, field day, specialty party. We are open to suggestions and always need more heads to plan!
Mom's Night Out
This is a new event for our group! We plan to get us Mom's out of the house, away from the dishes and kids - to get together with other mother's in our group so we can let our hair down, and relax.
Park Days
We like to get together for park days when the weather is good. Anyone can come, and anyone can schedule a park-day!
Potlucks
We usually kick-off the fall season with a potluck get-together in August. We also have a holiday potluck in December.
Presidential Physical Fitness Program
The Presidential Youth Fitness Program is a program that inspires children to be "healthy and active for life." There is no cost to this program and everyone gets a certificate in the end. A minimum of two practice sessions is required to test. This class is 8 weeks in length, with the first 7 weeks being practice sessions, and the 8th week being the test-score week. To test the child must be present at at least three practice sessions. This program is offered in the fall and spring.
